Lorac Pro 2 Palette Review and Swatches...

Hey there folks,

Sorry for my absence the past couple of days but I had yet another 'doh' moment where my brain apparently decided to take a little vacation without letting me know. My lovely dad got me a new case for my Macbook and wanted to do a YouTube video (you should check out his tech channel  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9_eaL4jZTo5sXGfsvuuIQ he's been super supportive and reads my blog despite the fact that I'm fairly certain he doesn't wear makeup lol) and so I took my Mac through to my parents house and then completely forgot to take it home with me. I know right? I think I need to start just randomly sticking post it notes everywhere to remind me to do things. So anyway lets get on with the show shall we?

I had been wanting to try out one of the Lorac palettes for a while since I have heard such positive things but lacked the funds to get one. By that what I mean is that I have to budget everything in order of priority and most of the time I just can't justify spending £20/30 on just one makeup product no matter what it might be. So anyway I finally managed to pick one up and decided to share my opinion with you guys too.

Okay so first let me just say that, whenever I review a product I like to try the product out for at least a week before I post a review, thats simply because I honestly don't think that I can give a truly accurate opinion based on just one try. I like to try as many colour combinations and looks as I can so that I can see how it really works for different things. But it's important to rememberer that this is just my own personal opinion, and that different products work differently on different skin types, tones and textures and what works well for me won't necessarily work for you and vice versa.

Looking at the design of the palette itself I've got to say that I love the simple and professional overall look it presents, the grey tones are kind of no nonsense but really work well at showcasing the different colours and tones of the shadows inside. Its a really nice size too as it's not too wide which makes it easier to hold onto, I wasn't sure at first whether or not I liked the soft cardboard as I figured it would be less sturdy than some palettes I own but honestly I haven't had any problems so far. I love the fact that there is a mirror inside for makeup and touchups on the go as not all eyeshadow palettes do, and the fact that the palette actually came with it's own eye primer (not pictured) was definitely an added bonus. I think the only thing that let it down here was the fact that it didn't come with a brush of any kind to make it easier for applying on the go.

1. Buff, 2. Lt.Brown, 3. Cool Gray, 4. Nectar, 5. Plum, 6. Navy, 7. Charcoal, 8. Black,
9. Snow, 10. Beige, 11. Rose, 12. Mocha, 13. Chrome, 14. Silver, 15. Jade, 16. Cocoa.

Diving right on in to the shadows, there are 16 shadows in total with a good mixture of warm and cool tones, shimmers and mattes. The first thing I will say is that while the darker colours are really nice and pigmented, most of the lighter colours need to be built up in order to get any kind of colour payoff at all, this is particularly the case with the colours Buff (1), Lt.Brown (2), Nectar (4), Snow (9), Beige (10) and Silver (14). Although once you do build them up the colours are extremely pretty and versatile.I  particularly love Lt.Brown as a transition shade and Snow as a highlight colour and in the inner corner of the eye. I would say that shadows 1 through 8 are your darker more glam shades and shadows 9 through 16 are your more natural everyday shades, although to be honest I like to mix things up a bit and experiment with all the different colours, after all thats what makeup is all about- experimentation!!. All of the shadows blend out really well and are fairly creamy when applying them, although, you can get a little fallout from some of the darker shades in particular the shades Plum (5) and Navy (6).

All in all I've got to say I really like the Lorac pro palette 2, I love the colour selection and the overall quality of both the palette itself and the shadows inside. I would definitely get another Lorac palette, in fact now I have my eyes on the Lorac Mega Pro palette, now that is a thing of beauty :) if only I could persuade someone to buy it for me lol.

Anyway folks thats all for today but I'll be back as always, I'm currently trying out the Loreal Infallible foundation since I love the matte version so much to see how the regular one compares I've already been using it for around a week but I'm going to keep my opinion all to myself- for now anyway.

See you all soon,

Alice xoxo

DIY- 3 Of The Ways That I Re-use My Empty Subscription Boxes...

Hey there again,

So yesterday when I was writing about my Monthly subscription boxes I started thinking about the ways that I re-use my boxes, besides the obvious (using them to store things lol), lets face it, getting a new box every month (or 2 in my case) can soon make them pile up. So, being the crafty kind of person that I am, I figured why not make them into something fun and useful, so thats exactly what I did. Today I thought I'd share 3 of the ways that I re-cycle my boxes and how to do them yourself and 2 of the ways require little to no effort so don't worry if you aren't super crafty lol.

1. Organise your Makeup...

Okay so I thought I'd start with the easiest one of all, and that is, to put it simply use them to organise your makeup drawer. Now don't get me wrong it doesn't have to be makeup, but since I'm showing you how I use mine this is what you get lol. I personally find that the slightly bigger Glossybox boxes are really great for things like palettes, foundations and makeup wipes whereas I like to use the Birchbox boxes for my lipsticks, lip balms and mascaras.
This is a great way to keep your makeup stash super organised although I still need more boxes as not all my makeup fits, then again I need more drawers too lol.

2. Make Super Cool Photo Frames...

I am the kind of person who always has a million family photo's but never any photo frames, either that or I can never find a good amount of matching ones, well with this up-cycle you get matching frames and the best part is that they're absolutely free. The one I've put up here isn't actually fixed to the wall properly yet (I used blutac for the purposes of this picture classy huh?) as I ran out of my picture hanging strips (you'll see why in just a sec) but I have ordered some more and fully intend on using the rest of my Birchbox boxes as a trendy looking picture collage (similar to the next up-cycle). Another option is to of course simply hang the bottom of your box to the wall, add in whatever you'd like to store and place on the lid. This would be especially pretty with some of the limited edition boxes like those in my previous post from yesterday.

3. Store Your Nail Polishes...

On to the final, and in my opinion the best up-cycle yet...

For a long time I pretty much just stored all my nail varnishes in a big box which did a great job of getting them out of the way but just wasn't in any way pretty or practical, digging through a giant box for one specific colour is not my idea of fun and being the kind of person I am I had to come up with an alternative. Because I had used the bottom parts of my Glossybox boxes to organise my makeup I had a rather large collection of seemingly useless box lids, and so I figured why not make myself some nifty little nail polish shelves using the lids and a few spare pieces of cardboard and voila this is what I came up with. Now all my polishes are within reach, I can see the colours easily and to top it off they look fab too!! (PS I added the picture frame on one of the pictures so that you can see how it would look in a set)

I loved the end result so much that I figured why not show you step by step how I did it so that you can try it out yourself so keep reading folks the DIY is on it's way!

DIY Nail Polish Shelves...

Okay so you are going to need:

1. Your Glossy box lid (or whichever lid you are using)
2. A glue gun (for my more crafty readers), some very sturdy sticky tape or whatever glue you think will hold well
3. A stanley knife or scissors
4. A ruler or tape measure
5. The box that your Glossybox arrived in or some nice sturdy cardboard.

Okay so first what you need to do is measure your box lid width ways across, mine was 27.5 cm or 10.5 inches (make sure to also measure slightly up the sides so that you have a good amount of cardboard to attach to the lid.

Next measure and cut a piece of cardboard using the measurement you have just taken and making it around 1.5 inches wide.

Next check that your piece of cardboard fits into your lid, with the sides bent upwards.
Providing your piece fits, you can then use this piece as a template for any other lids that you will be using.
I made 3 shelves and so cut out 3 pieces of cardboard of equal length and with.

Before doing anything else at this point you could colour in the back of your pieces of cardboard, you could use paint or you could be lazy like me and just use a black sharpie, either will work. Because you couldn't see as well after I'd coloured them black I left one white until after I had finished adding in the shelf part.

Once you're sure that everything fits it's time to get sticking, apply a good amount of glue or tape to the flaps you made and attach those to the inside of the box (I stuck my pieces of cardboard in pattern side up)
Next cut a small piece of cardboard around 2-3 inches wide and slightly longer than your newly added shelf
Create a kind of a hinge and secure it partially to the back of the box and partially to the shelf, this is going to add stability to your shelves so that they won't buckle under the weight of your polishes.

And thats it you're done, easy wasn't it?

All you need to do now is put your newly made shelves up on the wall in whatever arrangement works for you and add your polishes. I used some damage free wall hanging strips from command but you can of course use anything that works for you.
On a side note I also made the hairband/hairclip hanger you see in the picture and all my own hair accessories so if you'd like a tutorial on those let me know and I will happily oblige. Its amazing really how easy it can be to create something new out of something you might have thrown away.

Anyway folks on that awesome DIY it's time for me to call it a night. As always thank you for stopping by and I hope you come back again soon, I know I will lol ;)

Birchbox vs Glossybox...

Hey there folks,

I'm baaack lol, I took a couple of days off to attempt to get some rest and kick these horrid bugs in the bum, although as is always the case things didn't quite go to plan, I just can't quite seem to leave the mess alone it's like its staring at me taunting me with it's messiness and then I can't help myself I have to pick it up lol. The thing is there's always something else that needs to be done and so here I am almost 2 weeks after I first fell ill still feeling rubbish and living off lockets and sudafed to help combat the sore throat, swollen sinuses and chest infection.

Anyway I thought I'd get back into the thick of things and just hope that eventually I feel better without having to go to the doctors. You've probably guessed by the title that my Glossybox and Birchbox have arrived at last (Yay!!).

I think the worst part of my subscription boxes is definitely the wait, especially since my Birchbox arrives around the 10th of the month but my Glossybox doesn't arrive until around the 20th of the month, those 10 days are almost insufferable as I can't use any of the things I get in my Birchbox until after I've done this post (or at least taken the pics lol).

Since it was the first to arrive I'm going to share my Birchbox with you first, so lets dig in and see what I got this month (queue girly squeal of excitement),

This month Birchbox is another special edition box and this one has a Royal baby theme which was super cute, I got the pink one but there was also a blue one available which is the one my daughter actually ended up getting. I loved the fact that not only was the box itself adorable, but you also have the opportunity to win depending on which box you received and also whether or not the Royal baby is a boy or a girl which I think is a really fun idea. Like always you get several cards with tips on how to use some of your products and also products available to buy in the Birchbox store, and also a card detailing your products and their RRP's which to be honest I have to really fight my urge to cheat and see what products are inside the box lol.
Lola Barcelona nail polish in Garcia (RRP £7.50)
(this is a full sized product)

1. Laura Mercier mascara in black (RRP from £17.50 for full sized)
2.Laura Mercier eye pencil in violet (RRP from £17.50 for full sized)

One of the great things about Birchbox is that they often have an option where you can choose one of the samples that you receive, this months sample choices were all from Laura Mercier and you could choose either the mascara, the eye pencil or a face primer. I actually chose the face primer but as they were all sold out they sent me both the mascara and eye pencil which was really cool, instead of feeling disappointed that I didn't get my sample choice I ended up with 2 samples so it didn't bother me at all.

I was really looking forward to trying out both the mascara and the eye pencil as i've heard so many great things about Laura Mercier as a brand but I have to be honest I was majorly let down. The mascara wasn't bad at all but didn't really stand out for me so to be honest I would definitely go drugstore over this particular one and the eye liner just didn't do it for me. For me, one of the most important things for any eye pencil is that it's creamy so that it glides on smoothly, this one however was really dry and instead of gliding on pulled on the delicate skin on my eyes which is the last thing I want lol.
I've yet to try the nail polish although its most definitely on my to do list as I'm loving the vibrant pink colour and can't wait to girlify my nails.
Pommade Divine Natures Remedy Balm (RRP £19.80)
Liz Earle Beauty Co Cleanse & Polish (RRP £14.00)

To be honest the Pommade Divine remedy balm was a little 'meh' for me as it's not particularly exciting and I certainly wouldn't ever feel the need to pay £19.80 (a truly random amount) for something like this although I guess the sample size makes it handy to carry in your bag lol gotta find those positives. I was pretty excited though to get the cleanse and polish as I love hot cloth treatments, I can't say for certain whether or not it's any good as I've only tried it once but I will stick with it and let you know how it goes.
Percy and Reed Smoothed, Sealed & Sensational
Volumising No Oil, Oil (RRP £14.00)

Inner Me Energise Me (RRP £15.00)

Again I wasn't exactly filled with excitement at getting tablets of any kind in my Birchbox and I'm not entirely sure how these ones are beauty related but according to the Birchbox site the ingredients are supposed to provide "the whole package- health, beauty and well being" and since I am 'Still' poorly the vitamins may help me recover more quickly, who knows? The last item in my Birchbox was the "no oil, oil" and I'm always up for any kind of hair product that will tame the otherwise dry frizzy mess I call my hair, I guess it's pretty ok but to be honest I think I will stick to my oil, oil lol, I think this is an ok product for touch ups perhaps or for people who's hair is not massively dry or frizzy but as mine is both of those things I think I need something more hardcore lol. On a side note I may do a blog post soon on my current hair care routine as there are a good few products that go into taming this wild beast.

Lets just take a minute to appreciate the sheer beauty of this months Glossybox, not only is the mint green colour I received one of my fave colours but the quote on the inside of the lid is a lovely touch too "We are all of us stars and deserve to twinkle" (Marilyn Monroe). Now that we have seen the beauty of this months box I've got to say I was really disappointed when I opened up my Glossybox this month. When I first looked inside it seemed a little empty as opposed to previous months (there were actually only 3 products inside so I borrowed the nail varnish my daughter got in her box for picture purposes) plus there was no product card detailing what was inside, how to use and and the RRP's of each product. However I have contacted Glossybox and they have emailed across a product card and are in the process of rectifying the situation. Plus, the show must go on and so I will show you the items that actually arrived (plus the one I pinched from my daughter she'll never know lol) and then add the rest when they actually arrive.

Lord and Berry lipstick pencil in Kiss (RRP £10.00)
I was really excited when I saw that this was coming in Aprils Glossybox as I love Lord and Berry and every girl needs a good red lip product. This certainly does not disappoint it's really creamy and is super long lasting, the only down side was the fact that it was a little damaged when it arrived, but the lovely people at Glossybox are sending a replacement so that is pretty awesome too.

Color Club Nail Polish in Barely There
(RRP £4.10)
Astral Original Face and Body
Moisturiser (RRP £3.89)
Don't get me wrong I love a good nail varnish and the colour is pretty, it adds a subtle wash to your nails and could double as a base to make other colours really pop, but since I also got a nail polish last month I wasn't overly impressed to be honest. The moisturiser again is pretty standard, it's a good size for your handbag and absorbs well into your skin but is honestly nothing special.

POP Beauty Kajal Eyeliner pen
(RRP £6.50)
Bottom is eyeliner drawn straight on
Top is eyeliner smudged out

The very last product in my Glossybox (for now anyway) is this eyeliner pen, although I'm not entirely sure why this is called an eyeliner 'pen' exactly as really it's more of a pencil but as eyeliners go its not a bad one. It applies as you'd expect and smudges out really well to create that perfect smokey eye, use it in conjunction with your Lord and Berry lipstick pencil and you could create a soft, romantic look with just a touch of glamour. Now that's all said and done lets skip to the end and find out which box came out on top and why.

Birchbox total retail value = £105.30 (including the extra Laura Mercier sample)
Glossybox total retail value = £28.08 (including missing products)

Okay so just looking at the total retail value bearing in mind that each box costs around £10.00 per month (plus postage) there is a HUGE £77.22 difference in the total value of each box, but it's important to remember that whilst 3 of the Glossybox products were full sized, only 1 of the products in my Birchbox was full sized so the box value can be a little deceptive. Either way both boxes definitely exceeded the £10 cost of the boxes.

If I was basing my decision solely on the boxes it would be extremely difficult to choose but I'd have to go with Glossybox for no other reason than it's simple, classic elegance. But as I'm really in it for the products, it's got to be said that Birchbox takes it by a landslide. I felt that with Birchbox there was a nice even mix of makeup and beauty, and that they were all high end pretty good quality products. Whereas with Glossybox the products were on the lower end of the scale and to be honest the fact that there were products damaged and missing really influenced my decision. I will of course update the post as and when I receive the missing products but as a big company you really wouldn't expect Glossybox to have made the mistake in the first place.

Anyway thanks for dropping by, I will of course be back soon with more beauty and family life

Just a Quickie...

Hey there folks,

First of all get your minds out of the gutter, that is not what I meant at all lol, I just thought I'd check in really quickly to say "Hi" and I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. As you know I've been really poorly for the past week or so and I just haven't been able to get rid of whatever the heck this is so I figured I would take it a little easier (yeah right) and take a couple of days off from blogging, I am in the process of writing 2 beauty posts at the mo but trying to find the time to sit down and write a complete blog post in one go is just not happening. Everything is just taking so much more time since I've been ill but I have double timed my cleaning today just so that I would have a spare 30 minutes tomorrow to finish off my Birchbox vs Glossybox post and my Lorac Pro 2 palette review, so I shall be back very very soon

Sensory/Calm Zone for Autistic Son...

Hey there folks,

Today I thought I'd share a little bit more about my home life and the difficulties we, as a family face living with autism and also a few techniques that have worked for us.
My son is on the higher functioning end of the autistic spectrum, but although he has few communication difficulties other than a pronounced dis-jointed speech impediment and a literal understanding of conversations he does struggle massively on the more emotional and social side of things. Today I'm only going to talk about the emotional struggle at home but as time goes on I will also share some of the other struggles I face as a parent of a child with special needs and some of the techniques I have used to help my son cope with his daily struggles.

I'm lucky really as Hayden (my son) is a very caring and compassionate little boy even if he doesn't really understand the emotional feelings he see and feels himself and has difficulty identifying with someone else hurt/upset or anger he's the kind of child who would literally give you the shirt off his back for no other reason than he wants you to like him. I've lost count of the times he has tried to and sometimes managed to give his toys away to someone at school and at every school event we attend (which is every single one since I'm on the PTA lol) I have to make sure I take extra cash as he always ends up spending his 'allowance' on someone else a treat or a ride, because he doesn't understand having that extra cash means that I avoid a melt down when he realises that he has no money for himself. At the Easter bingo event Hayden won 6 easter eggs in total and then went around and gave one to his teacher, one to his teaching assistant, one to another teacher who was sat on the table, one to her daughter and then one to his sister so he ended up only going home with one egg but he was happy simply because he'd made them happy, in fact when he came back to our table he said "I gave one to Mrs Ashton and one to her little girl too because it wouldn't have been fair if I didn't give one to her little girl" My heart just about melted right there and then.

Sorry to go off subject but I just wanted to share that as a lot of people stereotype children on the spectrum and assume that they must not love, or care about people and that they are emotionless and thats just not true, yes some children have difficulty in understanding and showing emotion but that doesn't mean they don't feel it. Obviously I can only speak for my child as each child is different (regardless of whether or not they are on the spectrum) but I can say with absolute certainty that my son loves me and his sister (and everyone else in our family) and all he wants is for everyone to like him, and to be fair all adults who meet Hayden are drawn in by his charm and many of his teachers have a special bond with him.

Anyway back to the subject at hand lol, at home one of the biggest difficulties we face with Hayden is his anger. He really struggles to cope when he gets mad and always becomes aggressive, he shouts at me (we are still working on the way he speaks to me as he is extremely disrespectful and speaks to me as though we are on the same level not a parent and child, so if anyone has any hints on how to handle this one let me know.), throws things and also hits, kicks and pushes me and his sister. We've tried so many different ways of dealing with his anger, we tried timeouts and restraining him because he wouldn't only hurt us but also hurt himself when he was younger, which did work for a time but as he got bigger it became harder and harder to restrain him. We tried positive re-inforcement which works with certain aspects of his behaviour, we currently have a system where when he shows positive behaviour so being kind and helpful etc he earns a piece of a picture and then when he has all the pieces we go and get his reward which can be anything from a toy to a trip to the park, it's really helpful for him as he can see what he is working towards and we decide together what reward he would like, search online for an image and then decide how many pieces we should cut the picture into e.g if he wants to earn a toy that costs £10.00 we would cut that into 10 pieces for a trip to the park it would be 5 pieces and this system really works for some things but it's never going to work 100% of the time. The thing is tips like this can help reduce the number of meltdowns but they're never going to take them away completely, my son is autistic it's just a fact and that means that there are always going to be times where everything becomes too much. Imagine for a moment a time when something has really irritated you to the point where you can't seem to focus on anything else, a noise maybe or a smell, then imagine another time another sound another smell and another time, and another, children on the spectrum face this constant bombardment every single day everything is multiplied and so it gets to the point where something however small triggers an eruption which only gets worse because for us 'normal' people we know that when we get angry if we have time to process the anger it dissipates, for children on the spectrum they struggle to process add to that the sensory issues and what might cause a sigh or a moment of anger in one child can cause a huge meltdown with no end in sight for our child.

As a way for Hayden to take that time away from negative sensory input I decided the other day that it was time to create Hayden a calm down zone of sorts. Now bare in mind that Haydens bedroom is actually the 'box' room and so the smallest room in the house (less for him to break lol) so space was going to be a huge issue as I didn't want to take away any of his play space. So after a whole lot of contemplating and moving around of things I had a light bulb moment, what about the space under his bed?, Hayden has a mid sleeper in his bedroom as a way to create extra space and storage so all I really needed to do was move his drawers out and create his calm zone underneath his bed. After finally finding space in his room for his drawers and sorting through his toy boxes so that they would take up less space I finally had a nice clear and tidy space to make his own. Now don't get me wrong this was a lot harder than I had first anticipated in fact there were several times where I questioned my sanity in deciding to start such a mammoth job alone (I had no idea he had been stuffing mess behind his drawers when I had told him to tidy his room, something I'm pretty sure his sister taught him lol), but when I was finally finished I was so proud of myself. I added colour changing fairy lights (£3.00 from primark), a big fluffy blanket (he loves the way it feels against his skin and as he doesn't wear clothes other than underwear at home I needed a big one lol), some of his favourite books and lots of comfy pillows and cushions. To say he loved it would be an understatement, he actually slept in there for the first week lol, but now he has a space that is just for him where he can go when everything becomes too much, and where I can send him if I see his anger starting to build. Giving him a safe place to calm down and process the way he feels in his own way and his own time. Let me just say though the pictures don't even come close to doing it justice, for some reason it just wouldn't come across right in the pics but I've added them anyway :p.

Anyway with all that said I hope this helps someone else even if it is just to help you see that you aren't alone and that there are ways to help your child make sense of the world around them. I'd definitely recommend making an area for your child to go where they feel safe and away from things that stress them out especially if like Hayden your child struggles with anger issues.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my post and I hope you come back again soon

Alice xoxo

Hit, Miss or Maybe...

Hey there folks,

So I'm back again (mini fist bump moment), and today I'm going to share with you my long awaited first Hit, Miss or Maybe series. This was one of the first ideas I had when I started my blog just because I try so many of the same products (just by different brands) as I can never decide which one to get, I figured why not put my indecisiveness to good use and share my personal experience hopefully helping one of you decide for yourselves. It's fairly straight forward I'm just going to try three different brands and score each one on things like application, durability etc and of course personal opinion and then the one with the highest points will be the hit and so on.

Okay so for my first Hit, Miss or maybe I decided to try out a product that I just can't seem to stop buying (no seriously I buy a new one every time I go makeup shopping lol) and that is foundation. There are so many different kinds of foundations all of which are great for different things, but with summer around the corner and the inevitable shine that comes along with it (for me anyway) I decided to try out 3 matte foundations, in the interest of fairness I applied each foundation using a beauty blender and on top of the same primer. I also tried each one for at least a week.

1. Barry M £5.99 2. Revlon £12.99 3. L'Oreal £7.99

Okay, so first up is the Barry M flawless matte finish oil free foundation in the shade nude.

I probably should have taken the pic before I used it lol ;)
Price: 5/5
Packaging: 3/5
Application: 3/5
Coverage: 2/5
Feel: 4/5
Longevity: 3/5
Personal Opinion 3/5
TOTAL: 23/35

The packaging was ok and I loved the bright pink writing but the plastic does make it feel slightly cheap. This foundation applies fairly easily but as it is more of a low coverage foundation it did tend to come across a little patchy and I found it a little tricky to cover some of the redness caused by my rosacea. It was however extremely light weight and lasted through the majority of the day with only light touch ups (mainly across my nose). In short I think that this is a fab foundation for the price and would be a good one to use on days when you want a light weight foundation but don't need a lot of coverage.

Next we have the L'oreal Paris infallible matte foundation in the shade natural rose (12)

Price: 4/5
Packaging: 4/5
Application: 5/5
Coverage: 4/5
Feel: 5/5
Longevity: 4.5/5
Personal Opinion: 5/5
TOTAL: 31.5/35

I have to be honest I immediately fell in love with this foundation. The packaging is simple but effective it's easy to control how much you use and takes up a lot less space in your makeup bag than some others. It's very reasonably priced applies fantastically leaving a really beautiful finish. It is a medium coverage foundation but it's very buildable if you need more coverage, although I didn't actually need to build it up as it covered everything once I added my concealer. It lasted throughout the day really well although I deducted 0.5 points just because I needed to touch up slightly on a couple of the days.

And last up we have the Revlon Colorstay foundation for oily skin in shade sand beige (200)

Price: 3/5
Packaging 3/5
Application: 3/5
Coverage: 5/5
Feel: 3/5
Longevity: 2/5
Personal Opinion: 3/5
TOTAL: 22/35

Now this has been my go to foundation for so long that I never thought I would change foundations again, but when I first started using Colorstay there were not that many options for us girls with super oily skin and so this one was definitely the best one that I could find. The price is once again reasonable for foundation although the highest price of the 3, but the packaging itself is a big let down simply because it doesn't have a pump. without a pump you can't control how much you pour out especially with it being a fairly runny/watery foundation. The application is pretty easy and the coverage is fantastic, it definitely covers up every little blemish, however it feels very heavy on my skin and this was the worst of the 3 when it came to lasting throughout the day. All in all a great foundation for anyone needing a high coverage foundation but I would make sure to take a little pot of it with me for touch ups on the go.

So the Results are in and my recommendations are as follows...
