#MOTD - April 5th 2015...

Happy Easter everyone, yesterday was a day full of family time, egg hunts and spectacular sugar rushes, but now the crazy chaos of taking care of 4 children jacked up on Easter eggs has died down and I thought I'd take a moment to share my makeup of the day with you.

Yesterday's makeup was based on the Spring Break eyeshadow palette, I figured since its easter why not embrace the beauty of the many colours of spring so listed below is everything I used today. 

Face: Loreal infallible primer - applied all over face

          Loreal Infallible Matte foundation (shade Natural rose 12) - applied all over face using a beauty blender and then blended down neck, 

         Maybelline instant age rewind concealer (shade light) - under the eyes and down the bridge of the nose, 

         MUA translucent powder to set foundation - applied using a fluffy brush all over face,

         Barry M Chisel Cheeks contour palette - contour shade applied using Real Techniques contour brush to below cheek bones, jawbone, temples and the sides of the nose, bronzing shade using a fluffy angled brush to just above the contour shade to blend it all out, to temples, jawbone and slightly down the neck, the highlighting shade applied using tapered fluffy brush to just below the contour shade, centre of the forehead, down the bridge of the nose and to set the concealer below eyes, 

         I Heart Makeup Contour palette blush - applied to apples of cheeks, shimmery highlighter applied to tops of cheek bones, 

Brows: Maybelline Brow Satin (shade Dark Blonde)

Eyes: B. Stunning Vibrant Eye Shimmer (shade Lizzie 192) - primed eyelids all the way up to brow bone,

         MUA Spring Break Palette - 

Refine applied through crease and slightly above using a small fluffy brush

Cherub applied all over lid using a flat eyeshadow brush

Posy applied all through the crease using fluffy brush

Sorrel applied in the outer corner of eye

All blended out using a clean fluffy brush and the shade Cherub

Aurora applied to brow bone

Sea Foam (gorgeous colour) applied to lower lash line to add a pop of colour using angled eyeshadow brush

         Collection Gel eyeliner (shade Black) Applied using angled eyeliner brush to create a winged out effect and slightly on lower lash line to outer third of eye

         Maybelline Colossal Volume Express mascara (shade 100% black)

Lips:  Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner (shade 063 Eastend Snob) 

         Also applied MUA Matte lipstick (shade lilac Belle ) after photo was taken.
